I was born in Okinawa, Japan but moved to Orange County, California when I was 5 years old so consider myself a native Californian.  I graduated from UCLA with a degree in Political Science (nothing creative about that-go figure) and have been married for 20 years to a very supportive (and creatively as well as technically blessed) husband. He is an avid photographer-check out his website at www.pbase.com/haverstick and his blog jchphotography.wordpress.com. We have a daughter who is a freshman in college as well as a son who is a freshman in high school.

I have always enjoyed all sorts of crafting (papercrafts, sewing, knitting crocheting etc…) but got hooked on stamping in the early 90's while I was a stay-at-home mom.  I joined Stampin' Up! as demonstrator initially as a way to get out of the house to be with adults (do you know what I mean?) and earn some extra money (to buy more stamps of course).  I been a demonstrator since 1996 and love to share what can be made with their products through classes in my home as well as in-home workshops!

While I now work full-time outside the home at a day-job helping my customers learn how to develop their creative abilities through my Stampin' Up! business is one of my passions.

My husband and I have been on 2 cruises and a trip to Hawaii that I have earned through my Stampin' Up! business.  I never thought I'd be at it this long but I love it!!

Feel free to e-mail me if you have questions about the projects I post or are interested in attending classes, hosting a Stampin' Up! workshop or want to join my Stampin' Up! team as a demonstrator!
