October Stamp-A-Stack #1: Wetlands Sandscape

9-24-13 Samples-6769I'm always looking for a card design that can be considered "masculine".  I CASEd this simple, yet elegant design by Patty Bennett.

Wetlands stamp set; Marina Mist, Early Espresson and Crumb Cake inkpads and cardstocks.

January Stamp-A-Stack #4: Feeling Sentimental

Inspired by a card designed by Nanci S using the Feeling Sentimental stamp set (129627) that you can get for FREE during Sale-a-bration.

Basic Black & Naturals Ivory cardstocks;  Basic Black and Vanilla inkpads; First Edition Specialty DSP (121878); That's the Ticket stamp set (128072); Ticket Duo Builder punch (126883); Vintage Trinkets (118764).

Masculine Birthday Card

This card was designed by my downline Suzy Halford.  See the unique "embossed" star background?  Suzy gave me the following instructions to make your own custom Star "Texturz Plate" (shown to the right of the card above).

To make the pseudo "Texturz plate" for the Not Quite Navy base card: 1) Punch lots of large and small stars out of scrap cardstock 2) glue three stars together to make a thick star-repeat until you have at least 6 stacks of large and 10 stacks of the small stars 3) Glue these stacked stars on a sheet of cardstock (I used 5" x 7").  You now have a custom Texturz plate!

How to use the custom Star Texturz plate: Run your base cardstock through the Big Shot using the multipurpose platform by stacking in the following order 1) Standard Cutting Pad 2) "Star Texturz Plate" that you just made 3)Standard Texturz Impressions Pad 4)another Standard Cutting Pad.
