Daffodil Delight Roses
I'm really going to miss this stamp set and the papers when the Occasions catalog ends…this design was inspired by one made by Kristi.
Painted Petals and Because You Care stamp sets; Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi and Blackberry Bliss inks and cardstsocks; Spring Flowers TIEF; Butterflies Framelits; Painted Petals DSP; Daffodil Delight Seam Binding; Pearls Basic Jewels.
Mother’s Day Painted Blooms Garden Gift Satchels-the end!
So after making all my satchel class kits using the Painted Blooms DSP I was left over with quite a few of the sheets that had one big garden design printed on them.
That design wouldn't work with my standard class kits (which uses just one sheet of DSP), so I decided to find a way to use these up, which led me to create a slightly larger version of the satchel that uses 2 sheets of DSP and allowed me to make 5 full-size (A2) cards.
I started out using Soft Sky as the trim and wasn't completely sold on it so tried another version with Rose Red Trim. I ended up making up about 8 of these satchels which I will offer for sale to my customers who didn't get a chance to make one on their own.
And to answer the probable question, no, these will not be available as a class kit as I used up all my paper!! (and no, I don't have instruction for this version as yet)
Teabag and Cookie holder update: Painted Blooms DSP-Wasabi leaves
Taking a break from satchels this weekend…
Thought I'd make an updated version using current DSP…one side holds a teabag and/or gift card, the middle holds cookies/candy and the other side holds a notecard. Perfect little package for giving a gift card for Mother's Day.
Instructions that I made for this a few years back can be found on my instructions sheet tab…I used one of the cut off square pieces to make the notecard.
April 2015 Stamp-A-Stack #4: It’s all coming up tulips
Had quite a bit of the tulip paper leftover from all the satchel purse kits so #4 for this month will be the card on the left.
Painted Petals stamp set; Blackberry Bliss and Wild Wasabi inkpads and cardstocks; Rose Red, Soft Sky and Daffodil Delight Markers; Painted Blooms DSP; Ornate Tag Topper and 1-1/4" handheld circle punches; Wild Wasabi Cotton twine; Rhinestone basic jewels.
Satchel Purse #4-Curry Cabana
Happy Easter! He is Risen!!
I originally wasn't planning on using this particular sheet of DSP from the Painted Blooms package for my classes/kits but decided to try it anyway…and I love it! The bag kind of reminds me of a beachside cabana. The plus of this sheet of paper is that the other side of the DSP works well with it so I was able to flip some of the cut pieces over to have a little variety in the card designs.
Although the package says the color is Daffodil Delight, I thought the Crushed Curry was a better match with the stripes
Satchel style purse w/ Cards #1: Pacific Point
This is a new class I'll be offering in April. Class attendees will learn how to cut just one sheet of DSP as some additional coordinating cardstock to make the purse, 5 notecards, post-it holder and pen. The perfect Mother's Day (or Birthday) gift!
Painted Blooms stamp set; Painted Blooms DSP; Pacific Point Cardstock; SU! notecards w/envelopes; Wild Wasabi Seam Binding; Antique brads.
