April 2018 Stamp-A-Stack #2: Dapper Blooms
All the cards for my Stamp-A-Stack this month featured soon to be retired products so if there is one you want to recreate, make sure to order products before they’re gone!
I’ve had this retiring Blooms & Wishes set (141784) since it first came out and didn’t really use it until recently. I can’t believe how versatile it is-love the flowers! This card also features 2 soon-to be retired inks/cardstocks-Dapper Denim and Peekaboo Peach.
April 2018 Stamp-A-Stack #1: Heart Theory
This card based on one by Lisa C featured 3 retiring items and unfortunately the Color Theory DSP just sold out last week-sorry! The stamp set (Heart Happiness #145769) is still available through at least mid-May so if you like it make sure you order ASAP! Oh-and I also used Glitter Enamel Dots (#144200) which are also on the retiring list…
Lipstick Swatch Cardbag
I had quite a few sheets of this pattern of the soon to be retired Painted With Love Specialty DSP (145580) left over after my Valentines Banner classes so decided to make another version of the card purse project available to class attendees…The bag will hold at least 8 cards and envelopes but for class project I opted to have 2 each of three card designs which feature 2 more soon to be retired items– Lovely Inside and Out stamp set (144008/144011) and Lovely Words Thinlits (143733)
Stationery Box with Pen: Lemon Lime Twist Florals
Okay so I made one more iteration of this project by request using the Lemon Lime Twist paper…I have a limited amount of class kits left for purchase using several paper options (each kit comes with pre-cut/scored pieces to make one holder w/8cards as well as step by step instructions to complete the project on your own) so you can email me directly for more info….
Stationery Box with Pen: Pirouette Florals
I saw a wonderful project by Lyssa Zwolanek using the Fresh Florals papers and decided that I needed to create my own version that holds double the cards. I had used the pen holder technique over 15 years ago when I created the double notepad tutorial but hadn’t considered adding one to a stationery box/card carrier in the same manner-the final product makes a great gift!
I will be offering this project as a class. As in my previous specialty project classes attendees will learn how to make best use of one sheet of DSP (or 5-6 pieces of the 6×6 DSP stacks) and some additional cardstock, stamps and embellishments to make the cardholder and 8 coordinating cards and go home with step-by-step instructions on how to recreate on their own afterwards.
And because I know you’ll ask-YES I will offer a by mail kit option (after 3/31) so you can email me privately for details.
