This time using DSP instead of the stamp set…

My Son asked me to make a box that holds a cupcake so he could wish a friend a happy belated birthday…I resurrected an old design of mine.  Yes-we made the cupcake too!

Updated my Thankful banner this year using current products…made it double-sided to include the word Grateful.

I'm reposting this project from 2010 to let you know that I have posted instructions on the Instructions Tab.

These particular Pumpkins were made with 10-11 strips of 3/4" (or 1") x 5-1/2" (or 6") strips of cardstock.  Before assembling the strips were put through with various Textured Impressions Embossing folders and then embellished with leaves from the Days of Gratitude stamp set.

An update on last year's BOO banner…

Howlstooth and Scarringbone DSP; Perfect Pennants Bigz L die; Spider Web TIEF; Typset Alphabet Bigz die; Basic Grey stitched ribbon;  Platinum Shimmer paint; Bat punch (available online on clearance rack).

A simple Fall wreath made with our Orchard Harvest DSP and  Wooden Clothespins.  I used Modge Podge to adhere the strips of DSP to the clothespin and put one more coat to seal.  Then I hot glued each to a wooden wreath base.  I'll likely embellish it a bit but haven't had a chance yet.

The one below is a Christmas version using retired DSP.  These were my first attempts, not quite sure if I want to add anything or keep it simple.
