Hi ladies (and gents)!  I'm back from Leadership and all I can say is wow!  3 full days of classes and sharing where I was able to get inspired again with new ideas for the spring!  Just a quick post with a photo of a card display/holder that I was able to purchase.  I've attached some of the cards that I received from other demonstrators across the country.  I'll be spending the week getting ready for my upcoming classes and will post photos along the way.

Above is a photo of a couple of mini scrapbooks that I created using Stampin' Up!'s Petal Party Simply Scrappin' kit.  I call it a Bamboo Spine album because it's held together using a bamboo skewer! 1/2 a kit makes 2 albums, each with 8 pages to embellish with photos and the self-adhesive die cut shapes included in the kit (no stamping skills required!) and I offer it as a specialty class.  They make a perfect gift for a loved one to commemorate a special occasion.  Click here to download instructions.

I'm on my way to Phoenix today (to attend the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference) but wanted to post something for you to view while I'm gone.  The photo in the Occasions Mini catalog doesn't do this gorgeous new Sending Love Designer Series Paper (DSP) justice!  My DH took a close-up…can you see the glitter?  One side of each of the papers has glitter on the designs!!  It's beautiful…my new favorite paper!! I'm very excited about creating new projects to share with you when I get back.

A sample using the new Vintage Vogue Set and Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I used Perfect Plum and Mellow Moss Ink and Cardstock as well as Very Vanilla Cardstock and 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.  A little glitter and a rhinestone brad adds the extra bling to make this card sparkle!  Another version shown below:

Well I thought I should finally take a leap into the 21st century and start a blog for my Stampin' Up! friends. Please bear with me as I navigate the ins- and outs- of this new world.

As you can see by my first photo posted above Stampin' Up! is introducing acrylic mount stamps in the new Occasions Mini Catalog which goes live on January 5th (the link to the new catalog is on my sidebar).  Great news for those of you who have been waiting for this new option!  Unlike other acrylic mount stamps Stampin' Up!'s new line are still made with our high-quality long-lasting rubber so you get clean images.  Don't worry, we will still carry the original wood mount stamps as well.

A new punch style as well as new dies are also introduced in the new Occasions Mini catalog.  Ask me how you can get the Scallop Trim Border punch shown for free during Sale-A-Bration (which begins January 5th-more info to follow in upcoming posts).  Aren't these embossed butterflies cool?!! I'm getting ready to leave for a trip to Phoenix to attend Stampin' Up!'s leadership conference (1/6-1/9) but have scheduled daily posts in my absence so check back often.
