Packaging for Homemade Flapjack mix
I forgot to post this last month…
I love Trader Joe's instant Steel Cut Oatmeal and eat it for breakfast almost every day. I hate to just pitch the containers and was holding on to them in order reuse and reduce. Every year I make a yummy Flapjack mix that I give out as gifts and so when I got around to it this year I had an aha moment in terms of packaging:
I realized as I was getting ready to wrap the containers that they were about 13" in circumference so had to create a cardstock "seam" to cover the gap. I used retired DSP (from last year) and embellished the top using our Gift Bow Bigz L die (which unfortunately did not carry over into the Occasions catalog-boo hoo!).
Holiday Boutique #14: Keurig K-Cup Holder
These boxes are the perfect size to hold 2 Keurig K-cups (but they could hold other things as well). I used the Pop'n cuts card base die to make them. The original instructions I used to make the box was from fellow demonstrator Deb Valder.
The snowflake is actually an ornament held on by tape to the tag so this is actually a double gift!
Festive Flurry stamp set and Framelits; Island Indigo and Pool Party cardstocks; Bermuda Bay and Pool Party inkpads; Winter Frost Specialty DSP; Chalk Talk Framelits; Rhinestone Basic Jewels; Silver Embossing powder; Silver Glimmer paper; Silver 1/8" Ribbon.
Holiday Boutique #10: Via Instant Coffee Pouches
I made these using the retired Petite Pocket die and other retired products. A perfect size for holding the Starbucks Via instant drinks or other tasty treats!
Current products: Real Red and Early Espresso cardstocks; Warmth & Wonder, Best of Christmas and Very Merry Christmas stamp sets; Extra Large Oval, Christmas Ornament and Decorative Label punches, Labels Collection Framelits.
Holiday Boutique #9: Hot Cocoa Pouches
I made these hot cocoa holders/pouches using our Envelope Liner framelits.
The one on the right is made using Winter Frost DSP, Festive Flurry stamp set and matching framelits, Silver Glimmer Paper and Bermuda Bay inks and ribbon.
The one on the left is made using retired DSP and the current A Banner Christmas stamp set, Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green inkpads and Vanilla seam binding.
Holiday Boutique #4: Card Portfolio
This Portfolio holds 6 cards/envelopes
Basic instructions for the portfolio can be found under the instructions sheet tab on this blog.. it's called One sheet Wonder (Doubletime) cardholder.
I used retired Calypso DSP and the Apothecary Art stamp set for the cards. The flowers were embellished with Dazzling details in the centers.
