Tree full of pumpkins!
Saw this idea somewhere and had to make one for myself! I purchased this particular tree from Hobby Lobby and then made up a bunch of small paper pumpkins using our DSP and cardstock. The basic instructions for the pumpkins can be found on the instruction sheet tab on my blog.
Oh, and the acorn garland you see hanging from the vase is made using our new acorn builder punch.
Happy Fall!-Give Thanks Wreath
So I took a little posting sabbatical but am back on track for fall. This is a wreath I made based on one that artisan Alison O. had displayed at convention…
I used the Vintage Leaves stamp set w/matching framelits , Back to Basics Alphabet stamp set, Acorn and 3/4" circle punches. Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake, Hello Honey cardstocks; Soft Suede and Pear Pizzazz, inkpads; Gold Glimmer paper.
The little round balls are just some 1" styrofoam balls wrapped with Typeset DSP. The bow is made with our 1-1/4" Burlap ribbon.

Floral Garden Cardholder 2015
This accordian cardholder from a few years back has been updated with current (but now soon to be retired) products. The original held 4 notecards and envelopes but I changed it up a bit to hold 5 notecards and envelopes. Will likely offer this as a class again soon with the revised measurements. The original instructions can be found on the instruction sheet tab on this blog or you can click here and download the Accordian Card Poucholder.
I used the soon to be retired Flower Pot DSP & Scallop Edge punch
Basket Full of Petals for May Day
Another gift-giving idea using one of my new favorite floral stamp set and products…this basket holds eigh 3" x 3" notecards and envelopes (2 each of 4 different designs) and a mini pen.
Painted Petals stamp set; Rose Red, Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight and Blackberry Bliss inkpads; Crumb Cake and Rose Red Cardstocks; Basket die; Butterflies Framelits; Paper Doily; Bitty Bow punch; Wild Wasabi seam binding.
Mother’s Day Painted Blooms Garden Gift Satchels-the end!
So after making all my satchel class kits using the Painted Blooms DSP I was left over with quite a few of the sheets that had one big garden design printed on them.
That design wouldn't work with my standard class kits (which uses just one sheet of DSP), so I decided to find a way to use these up, which led me to create a slightly larger version of the satchel that uses 2 sheets of DSP and allowed me to make 5 full-size (A2) cards.
I started out using Soft Sky as the trim and wasn't completely sold on it so tried another version with Rose Red Trim. I ended up making up about 8 of these satchels which I will offer for sale to my customers who didn't get a chance to make one on their own.
And to answer the probable question, no, these will not be available as a class kit as I used up all my paper!! (and no, I don't have instruction for this version as yet)
Soft Sorbet Satchel
This will be the last of the satchel projects I will be posting for a while. This time I used a retired DSP from the Sweet Sorbet DSP that was part of SAB last year…I used the Painted Petals stamp set again and the stamp pad colors are Soft Sky and Basic Black.
I have 5 of these available as kits. If you're interested, email me privately at chiaki@stampingpro.com
Mini Notecard Purse: Garden full of posies
An updated version of my mini cardholder purse project from 2013. I used the Flowerpot DSP. One sheet of DSP used to make this small purse and six 3" x 3" notecards with embellished envelopes.
Instructions can be found on my instructions sheet tab here.
Teabag and Cookie holder update: Painted Blooms DSP-Wasabi leaves
Taking a break from satchels this weekend…
Thought I'd make an updated version using current DSP…one side holds a teabag and/or gift card, the middle holds cookies/candy and the other side holds a notecard. Perfect little package for giving a gift card for Mother's Day.
Instructions that I made for this a few years back can be found on my instructions sheet tab…I used one of the cut off square pieces to make the notecard.
