Circle Card Thinlits Die: Go Army! card

Samples 8-20-13-5547I wanted to send Conner a handmade card while he is at Basic Training but had to keep it very masculine so he wouldn't get flak about it.  This is what I came up with…Inspired by the Army logo.

Itty Bitty Box

itty bitty box

I CASEd this idea from a SU! demonstrator (not sure who it was so let me know if you know and I'll give her credit).  i gave them to my Stamper's Club and Big Shot club members this month.

I used the soon to be retired Itty Bitty Box die and the Tea Shoppe set that was in the Occasions mini catalog (it will also be available in the new catalog).  Each box holds 4 mini notecards and envelopes cut from DSP.

Bigz XL Box #2

box#2

A project from my recent Big Shot class featuring the Box #2 die that is retiring.

I cut two of the boxes and glued them together with the flaps facing in and then added a "handle" where the two boxes come together.  It becomes a pseudo "gable box" with two sections to fill with your favorite goodies!

Scallop Heart Box

scallopheartbox

Hearts Collection Framelits;  Fun Flowers Bigz die;  Attic Boutique DSP;  Pool Party  & Daffodil Delight cardstocks; Always Artichoke Seam Binding; Antique Brad.

The sueded flower was made by running the flower layers through a corrugator multiple times to break down the paper fibers and then splitting the cardstock in half to get the sueded texture.  I then crumpled them up some more after putting the layers together with a brad.

The "box" was made using a leftover brad container wrapped with DSP.

This bookmark is one of 5 projects we'll make.  Very Simple to make and makes a great little gift for your bookworm friends!
